A Catholic mission crew that breaks into broken places and fixes them — structural, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and whatever else needs to be done. This summer we're running the job in the hills of eastern Kentucky.
The whole job runs on what we raise. Materials, fuel, tools, and the trip itself — funded by people who'll never see the house but make the fix possible.
Framing, plumbing, electrical, roofing — one crew, under one roof. From a single failing joist to a complete addition, we take on the structural, hands-on work that takes real skill. It's not a job to us — it's a calling, and we do it through Christ.
Joists, walls, decks, ramps, full additions. We put the bones back in a house.
Lines, fixtures, drains, leaks. We make the water behave.
Fixtures, circuits, safe power. We handle the electrical a job needs — done right.
Tear-offs, patches, full replacements. We keep the weather outside.
The name's a wink — the work is dead serious. We're a Catholic crew of volunteers who give a week, a skill, and a lot of sweat to families who are in need.
We work under St. Vincent Ferrer, patron of builders — the saint who put his hands to the work. We just take the breaking-in part a little more literally.
"It'll be nice working with proper villains again."
